Workshop Description: This workshop brings together librarians, archivists, and scholars from Rutgers, Cornell, and associated Meiji-era American archives to introduce the unique contents and contexts of their collections. It explores late 19th–early 20th century trans-Pacific networks through the Griffis papers, missionary materials, and Bakumatsu/Meiji-era books, photographs, and prints.
