Rutgers Meets Japan: A Celebration of Friendship will be held on Saturday, September 12th, 3:00-5:00 PM, at the Kirkpatrick Chapel, Rutgers University, to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the publication of The Mikado's Empire and the 100th anniversary of the bestowal of the Order of the Rising Sun by the Emperor of Japan upon William Elliot Griffis (Rutgers Class of 1869). Join us to celebrate the 150 years of intellectual and cultural exchange between Rutgers-New Brunswick and Japan!
